The Staff Committee is pleased to announce the participation of three members of the Committee in the training “Appeal Process in International Organizations” organized by the International Federation of International Civil Servants' Associations (FICSA). The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) coordinated this training, which took place on October 27 in Washington, DC.
Staff association members of sister international organizations in the Washington area such as PAHO, the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) also attended the event.
The OAS Staff Association is a member of FICSA with consultative status since 2008.

El Comité del Personal se complace en anunciar la participación de tres miembros del Comité en el curso “Proceso de Apelación en Organizaciones Internacionales” organizado por la Federación de Asociaciones de Funcionarios Internacionales (FICSA). La Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) coordinó este entrenamiento que tuvo lugar el día 27 de octubre en Washington, DC.
Miembros de asociaciones de personal de organizaciones internacionales de la zona de Washington, tales como la OPS, el Banco Mundial y el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), también participaron en el evento.
La Asociación del Personal de la OEA es miembro de FICSA con estatus consultivo desde el año 2008.
