The Staff Committee 2011-2012 is pleased to inform the staff of the General Secretariat that on 3 February we received an invitation from the Chairman of the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs of the Permanent Council (CAAP), Amb. John Beale, to attend the next meeting of the Commission to be held in late February 2012.
At the request of the Member States, the Staff Committee prepared in response to that invitation, a document entitled "Comments and proposals of the Staff Committee on the document presented by the General Secretariat of the OAS" Progress report on the Comprehensive Human Resources Strategy (Phase One)". In that document the Staff Committee expresses its opinion and recommendations on the proposed personnel policy prepared by the Secretariat for Administration and Finance.
The Committee will submit the document and the results of its participation in the CAAP on the same to the staff members shortly. Doc.

El Comité del Personal 2011-2012 se complace en informar a los funcionarios de la Secretaría General que el día 3 de febrero del corriente año recibió una invitación del Presidente de la Comisión de Asuntos Administrativos y Presupuestarios del Consejo Permanente (CAAP), Emb. John Beale, a participar en la próxima reunión de la Comisión, la cual se realizará a finales del mes de febrero de 2012.
El Comité del Personal elaboró, por solicitud de los Estados Miembros y en respuesta a dicha invitación, el documento “Comentarios y propuestas del Comité del Personal sobre el documento presentado por la Secretaría General de la OEA “Informe de Avance del Plan Integral de Gestión de Recursos Humanos (Fase uno)”. El mismo expresa su opinión y recomendaciones sobre la propuesta de la política de personal preparada por la Secretaría de Administración y Finanzas.
El Comité presentará oportunamente a los miembros de la Asociación el documento mencionado, así como los resultados de su participación en la CAAP. Doc.
