Establecimiento del Sub-Comité de Crisis

El Comité del Personal desea informar al personal de la Secretaría General que en virtud de las inminentes reducciones de personal como consecuencia de la aprobación reciente de la Resolución AG/RES. 2762 (XLII-O/12) —que entre otras cosas establece el techo presupuestario 2013 de la Organización en US$ 3.2 millones menos que el aprobado para 2012— así como de otras medidas que pudieran generar mayores reducciones de personal, se ha conformado un Sub-Comité de Crisis (SCC), cuyo objetivo es estudiar y analizar los casos de desvinculaciones que sean puestos a su conocimiento.

El Subcomité estará integrado por Laura Martínez, Carla Sorani Hluchan, Michael Thomas y Daniel Vilariño, quienes analizarán los casos y los derivarán a un grupo de expertos que colaborarán estrechamente con las labores de este Sub-Comité.

Establishment of the Crisis Committee

The Staff Committee would like to inform the staff of the General Secretariat that, in light of the imminent reductions in personnel stemming from the recent adoption of Resolution AG/RES. 2762 (XLIII-O/12) —which, among other things, sets the 2013 budget ceiling of the Organization at US$ 3.2 million less than the budget approved for 2012— as well as other proposals that could generate greater personnel reductions, a Crisis Sub-Committee (CSS) has been established. The main goal of this Sub-Committee is to study and analyze cases of separation from service that are brought to its attention.

The Sub-Committee will comprise Laura Martínez, Carla Sorani Hluchan, Michael Thomas and Daniel Vilariño. They will analyze general cases and refer them to a group of experts who will closely collaborate with the Sub-Committee’s tasks.
