First Informative Session of the 2013-2014 Staff Committee

The Staff Committee informs that the Informative Session originally scheduled to take place on Monday, November 4, 2013, at 11:00 am, has been rescheduled for Friday, November 8, 2013, at the same time.
As previously indicated, the purpose of the Session is to provide an update on the status of the ongoing discussions in the framework of the Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs (CAAP), regarding proposed changes to Chapter III (Personnel) of the General Standards, as well as issues related to the recently approved 2014 Program Budget.
During the Informative Session, reference will be made to the joint proposal between the Staff Association and the General Secretariat related to the General Standards submitted to the CAAP on October 17, 2013, and subsequently distributed to the Member States, available here: CAAP/GT/RVPP-218/13.

El Comité del Personal se permite informar que la Sesión Informativa prevista para el lunes, 4 de noviembre, a las 11:00 AM, ha sido reprogramada para el viernes, 8 de noviembre, en el mismo horario.
Como se informó anteriormente, el propósito de esta Sesión es informar al personal sobre el estado de las discusiones que se vienen desarrollando en el marco de la Comisión de Asuntos Administrativos y Presupuestarios (CAAP) con respecto a la propuesta de reformas al Capítulo III (Del Personal) de las Normas Generales para el Funcionamiento de la Secretaría General y algunos otros temas relacionados con el recientemente aprobado Programa-Presupuesto de la Organización 2014.
En la Sesión Informativa se hará referencia a la propuesta conjunta de la Asociación del Personal y la Secretaría General presentada ante la CAAP el 17 de octubre de 2013 y distribuida posteriormente a los Estados miembros, disponible aquí: CAAP/GT/RVPP-218/13.
