SECOND WALKING TOUR AROAS
invites all its members, family members, friends, and OAS staff to its Second Walking
Tour DATE
AND TIME: Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 9:30
A.M. DEPARTURE:
17th Street. & Constitution Ave., N.W. - OAS Main Building in
the front of the Building in the parking area reserved for diplomatic
parking. See Map. DEADLINE
FOR REGISTRATION:
Thursday, August 14, 2014 All we need
to know in advance is the number of participants. Please call the AROAS
Office at 202-370-9887 or send an e-mail to: [email protected] to
register. COST:
$12 You
will get a T-SHIRT with the logos of AROAS and the OAS CREDIT UNION. All
funds collected will support the AROAS Emergency and Assistance Fund PARKING:
Free on C Street (Access the lot
from 17th Street: the C Street entrance will be closed.). Please

Caminata FECHA Y HORA: Sábado, 16 de agosto de 2014 a

horas. PARTIDA: Calle 17 esq. Constitución, Edificio
Principal de la OEA, en el estacionamiento reservado para carros con placa
diplomática. VEA EL MAPA DEL RECORRIDO EN LA PÁGINA SIGUIENTE. FECHA LÍMITE PARA LA
INSCRIPCIÓN:

SEGUNDA CAMINATA DE AROAS WALKING ROUTE: OAS Main Building to the Botanical Gardens
below the US Capitol. Start at 17th Street & Constitution
Avenue, N.W. Follow 17th Street across Constitution Ave. to
the World War II Memorial, make a left at the light and follow the path past
the Washington Monument across 15th Street and 14th
Street to the Smithsonian Mall and the Botanical Gardens just below the US
Capitol on the right side. You can visit the Gardens and cool off. This
walk is about 3 miles long and should take about 1- ½ hours. You can go
the whole route or part of it .Do it at your own pace. Please bring
your own water!!!. On the attached map, see the red dots. _________________ RUTA DE LA CAMINATA: Desde el Edificio Principal de la OEA hasta el
Jardín Botánico abajo y a la derecha del Capitolio de los EE.UU. Partida del Edificio Principal de la OEA, Calle 17 y
Avenida Constitución N.W. Sigue la Calle 17, cruza la Constitución hacia el
WW-II Memorial, dobla a la izquierda en la luz. Continúa este sendero,
pasa el Monumento a Washington, cruza las calles 15 y 14 hacia el Smithsonian
Mall y el Jardín Botánico abajo y a la derecha del Capitolio de los EE.UU.
Puede visitar dicho Jardín para refrescarse un poco. La Caminata es de
alrededor de 3 millas, toma cerca de una hora y media de tiempo. Puede
caminar toda la distancia o parte de ella, a su propio paso. Por favor,
lleve su agua. En el mapa adjunto, seguir los puntos
rojos.
