RESULTADOS DE LAS ELECCIONES 2006
ELECTION RESULTS 2006 

El Comité de Nominaciones comunica los resultados de las elecciones que se realizaron
los días 22 y 23 de junio de 2006, para elegir Presidente, miembros del Comité del Personal y a los
Representantes Titular y Suplente ante la Comisión de Jubilaciones y Pensiones,
de acuerdo con los Estatutos de la Asociación del Personal. 

The Nominating Committee announces the results of the elections held on June 22 and 23, 2006,
for President, members of the Staff Committee
and for Principal and Alternate Representatives of the Retirement and Pension Committee,
in accordance with the Statutes of the Staff Association.

The total number of ballots tallied for Staff Committee members was 245, of which 36 were from the OAS Country Offices, 7 were votes cast in absence, and 1 was void.  The total number of ballots tallied for Representative and Alternate on the Retirement and Pension Committee was 260, of which 60 were from the OAS Country Offices, IICA, CATIE, the Inter-American Juridical Committee, and the IACI, 7 in absence, and 7 were blank. 

El total de votos escrutados para el Comité del Personal fue de 245, de los cuales 36 fueron de las Oficinas de la OEA en los Países miembros, 7 en ausencia y 1 anulado.  El total de votos escrutados para Representante y Suplente ante la Comisión de Jubilaciones y Pensiones fue de 260, de los cuales 60 fueron de las Oficinas de la OEA en los Países miembros, lICA, CATIE, Comisión Jurídica Interamericana y el IIN, 7 en ausencia y 7 en blanco. 

The Nominating Committee thanks the members of the Teller Committee that participated in this process for their excellent and efficient work.  It also thanks those staff members who served as election officers.
